Provide competitive and affordable playing opportunities for juniors
Assist juniors in earning college scholarships
I. Coastal Junior Tour Registration
a) $100
Includes admin fees, CJT logo hat, CJT logo towel, and CJT logo headcover
II. Individual Tournament Registration
a) $60 for 18-hole participants
b) $30 for 9-hole participants
c) Deadline to register is at noon on the Monday prior to each event
d) Lunch and on course beverages included
III. Divisions
a) Boys and Girls divisions
b) Each division will play from its own set of tee markers
c) Age Divisions
i) 9 and under (9 holes only, caddies required)
ii) 10-12 (9 holes only, no caddies permitted)
iii) 13-15 (18 holes)
iv) 16-18 (18 holes)
IV. Flights
a) The 18 hole participants will have a B Flight for juniors unable to break 100 and will play their competition over 9 holes
b) This flight is for newer golfers still developing their skills
V. Practice Rounds
a) Available Friday-Sunday after 1pm (subject to change at the discretion of facility)
b) Practice round prices may vary based on facility
VI. Competition
a) 9 or 18 holes of individual stroke play
b) USGA rules govern play
VII. Spectators
a) Spectator may be able to rent a golf cart if the facility is able to accommodate
b) Spectator carts are to always remain on the cart paths
c) Spectators are not allowed to coach or advise participants
VIII. Caddies
a) Caddies are allowed for the 9 and under division
b) Caddies must adhere to dress code policy
IX. Dress Code Policy
a) Appropriate golf attire must be worn during events
b) The dress code of the host facility will prevail if there is any question
c) All tournaments are soft spikes only events
X. Additional items
a) Beverages provided by the tour. Refillable bottles allowed. Coolers prohibited.
Contestants (and their caddies, if permitted) are to observe proper golf etiquette at all times. Any abuse or disrespect of fellow competitors, officials, spectators, employees of the host facility, or other persons conducting or attending a CJT event can be grounds for disqualification from the event and possible rejection of entry from future CJT events. Such abuse may be verbal or physical or threat thereof and includes but is not limited to the use of obscene language, physical damage to property or equipment of the CJT or host facility.
